Member Development Day (MDD) events are driven by member feedback given at the beginning of the club year. The District team takes what you want to learn and turns that information into valuable education sessions for members. The first District 32 MDD, held on October 24, was an excellent event focused on “Wow!” meetings. Sixty one registered participants were treated to sessions on new member mentoring, engaging existing members, effective evaluations, how to pick speech topics, and the path to DTM.

If you missed the first MDD, don’t worry! You have two more chances to attend one of these valuable, in-depth learning sessions.

Wednesday, November 11th @ 6:00 pm AK / 7:00 pm WA – Core Competencies in Online Environments

Monday, December 7th @ 6:00 pm AK / 7:00 pm WA – Beyond Toastmasters

These MDDs are online; you can attend from anywhere. We are also currently planning a mid-January session focused on contest training, both for competitors and contest management. Watch for more details on this in a future edition of The View.

Take full advantage of your Toastmasters membership by attending one or more of these educational MDDs!
