Hello District 32 members! Allow me to introduce myself as the new Program Quality Director for this club year.

I have been an Alaskan Toastmaster for over 10 years. In that time I have belonged to 3 clubs (1 as a charter member), held many club officer roles and District roles, and finally earned my Distinguished Toastmaster designation last year. My District Trio leadership journey started last year when I served as the Club Growth Director. Little did I know what a wild club year that was going to be. But I’ve come out the other side actually very excited about the opportunities that have presented themselves.

As Program Quality Director, I will be working with the Education & Training Committee to revamp our training curriculum to make it effective for online learning. You will see programs like Coach/Sponsor/Mentor training, Speaker to Trainer, and Member Development Day come to the Zoomisphere to help more people access these opportunities. I look forward to getting new people interested in not only participating in the training, but also in leading or presenting. It’s a year whose success  will be built on our District 32 community strength. Growing wider connections between Alaska and Washington members is one of my goals for this year.

If you are interested in helping on committees, planning the next D32 conference, or have educational program or training questions, please feel free to contact me!
