This time of online meetings gives all existing members a chance to visit, and possibly join, a specialty or advanced club. Here is a list of what District 32 has to offer:
Sound Advice – Meets the 3rd Thursday of the month @ 5:30 pm AK / 6:30 pm WA time
Sound Advice Advanced is a club centered on fostering leadership skills within its members. This mission is accomplished through the planning and execution of events meant to be of service to our District and its clubs, and through the discussion of leadership topics during club meetings. Toastmasters seeking to grow their leadership skills are encouraged to visit our club, check us out, and join! Membership eligibility requires the completion of a CC manual or two levels of any Path. Come be mentored by some of the most experienced leaders in our District, including past Division Directors, past District Directors and a past International Director.
Professionally Speaking – Meets the 1st Thursday of the month @ 6:00 pm AK / 7:00 pm WA time
This is the club for you if you are serious about taking your speaking to the next level. With four evaluations given for each prepared speech, (manual, vocal, visual, and content), you have the opportunity to really hone your skills. We encourage taking the time to deliver the speech again, applying the feedback. Entry requirements are 2 levels of Pathways completed, or having earned a Competent Communicator Award. Come learn with us.
Professionals in High Demand – Meets the 4th Wednesday of the month @ 5:30 pm AK / 6:30 pm WA time
Professionals in High Demand is dedicated to helping members take their communication and leadership skills to the next level. Not only do the speakers gain incredible insight from four separate perspectives, the evaluators also have the opportunity to more finely tune their feedback skills by focusing on one specific aspect of the presentation – content, visual, verbal or Toastmasters Manual perspective. Prospective members need only to have completed the Competent Communication manual in order to apply for membership.

Inside Out Toastmasters – Meets the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month @ 4:00 pm AK / 5:00 pm WA time

NW Comedy Club – Meets the 1st Friday of the month @ 6:00 pm AK / 7:00 pm WA time
Being funny on purpose is not easy, but the NW Comedy Club is a safe place to learn. This advanced club aims to help members learn better communication skills while using humor, comedy, storytelling, and improv.
Citizens of the World – Meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month @ 12:00 pm AK / 1:00 pm WA time
Members of this club enjoy learning about and experiencing aspects of other parts of the world, realizing that with all our similarities and differences, we are one people on this one planet. Each meeting focuses on a different country and the unique elements of its culture. We are all citizens of the world!
Advancing Alaska – Meets the 4th and 5th Monday of the month @ 6:30 pm AK / 7:30 pm WA time
Advancing Alaska Toastmasters is dedicated to promoting the growth and development of Toastmasters through constructive, in-depth evaluations; creative, fun, and flexible meetings; and networking opportunities throughout the Toastmasters’ community. Club membership requires that you have completed at least one traditional Toastmaster education designation (either CC or CL) OR a Level 2 in Pathways, AND maintain an active membership in a “home” club.
Nerdmasters – Meets the 1st Wednesday of the month @ 6:30 pm AK / 7:30 pm WA time
This new club’s mission focuses on exploring the use of technology to support communication and leadership skills. This is fulfilled in part by acting as a technical support taskforce for D32 and serving as a resource and think tank for figuring out technological challenges the District or the Clubs might face. Beyond that, the club’s culture itself is a huge part of who the Nerdmasters are; they’re nerds and geeks, however you define those terms. But, they don’t bash each other’s nerddoms and don’t act as gatekeepers to prevent ‘inadequate’ nerds from joining. The club welcomes anyone who is curiosity driven and wants to learn and grow, even if they might not be the most tech savvy or sci-fi-obsessed people out there. They take nerdlings too! Come join the nerd herd.
Laugh Lab Storymasters – Meets the 2nd Thursday of the month @ 6:00 pm AK / 7:00 pm WA time
This is a new advanced club, focusing on the development and use of humor and storytelling in speaking. The meetings are fun, instructive and challenging. To date, the club has been alternating meeting formats between bringing in guest instructors and giving its members an opportunity to play with and receive feedback on the skills they are developing. Applicants for membership must have completed either 5 speeches from the old CC manual or 1 level of a Path. Come laugh and learn!
