The World Needs More Toastmasters
As a district leader and club officer on the front lines during COVID, we have all pivoted to respond to the massive changes for our members. Now, more than ever, the world needs more Toastmasters. This interactive presentation is designed to help you figure out your “why,” how to figure out your next leadership steps, and to get re-engaged with our mission. People find their confidence in Toastmasters clubs – and that goes far beyond our organization. When you express yourself without fear or doubt, it changes lives. Let’s develop our skills, enhance our Toastmasters journey with fellowship, and thrive by making a difference by mentoring others.
May 10 (Tuesday): Evaluation Contest
May 11 (Wednesday): Educational Sessions
How to make your club meetings more engaging & fun with Louisa Davis, DTM
The best way to create a thriving club is to have an amazing club quality experience for your members and guests. This interactive workshop will give you dozens of ideas of how to hold engaging club meetings (whether they are online, hybrid, or in person). The key is: “the wow factor.” Let’s brainstorm what makes some clubs successful in getting and keeping their members. How fun are your meetings? Do guests feel welcome, supported, and connected? How can you be more creative with the program? How do you draw guests into your meetings? What can you do to energize the experience?
