What does it mean to “leave money on the table?” Originally a poker term, this phrase means you are missing out on cash or some other financial opportunity. If you underbid a job instead of asking to be paid your full value, you are leaving money on the table. If you fail to use the discounts or other benefits tied to a loyalty program or credit card, you are leaving money on the table. And, if you are not taking full advantage of a 401(k) match or other perks offered by your employer, you are leaving money on the table.

As Toastmasters, you may also be leaving money on the table. Each Path in Pathways costs members $20. However, if you renewed your membership for the October 1, 2020 through March 31,2021 membership period before December 31, 2020, Toastmasters International is offering you a free Path. Taking advantage of this offer is like putting $20 back in your pocket. What are you able to do with an extra $20?

If you renewed your membership in Toastmasters International before December 31, 2020, don’t leave your free Path on the table. You have until March 31, 2021 to select your path. Note that you do not have to start working in your path immediately. You just have to select your free path.

To select your free path, visit your Toastmasters profile, click the “Choose A Path” button, and follow the normal path selection process. Please allow up to 24 hours after submitting your renewal dues for your free path to become available.
