Ground Transportation from Seatac to Bremerton:

Toastmasters Shuttle

We are working on coordinating local Toastmasters to chauffeur folks from the Seattle/Tacoma Airport to the Seattle-to- Bremerton Ferry Terminal.  A walk-on ticket for the Seattle-to- Bremerton Ferry is only $8.35.  The Kitsap Conference Center and the Hampton Inn & Suites are a very short walk (like a couple of hundred feet) from the Bremerton Ferry Landing.

When the conference is over, we’ll be coordinating more member-chauffeurs, to get folks from Bremerton back to the airport.

We have not yet identified the person who will coordinate this chauffeuring activity. As soon as we have the coordinator identified, we’ll post the information.  If you don’t want to wait until we find our coordinator, some of you might prefer to make
your own transportation arrangements. Here are some options to consider:

  1. Kitsap Airporter: the shuttle will pick you or your group up at the airport and deliver you to the conference center for a fee.  The fee to Bremerton is approximately $25.  For more information, visit their website.
  2. Rent a Car: The SeaTac airport has convenient shuttles to take you to the Rental Car Facility.  Drive to Seattle and catch the Bremerton Ferry OR drive to Bremerton directly.
  3. Uber/Lyft/Taxi: Service are available from the airport to the Seattle Ferry Terminal (or wherever you want to go). The Uber website estimated the cost to from the airport to the Seattle Ferry Terminal to be between $35 – $68.  I’ll leave it to you to download your favorite phone app.
  4. Light Rail: Light rail is available from the airport to the downtown Seattle.  It is a hike of a few blocks (with a hill) from the rail station at Pioneer Square to the Ferry Terminal.  The cost is about $3 and the rail trip takes about 40 minutes.  This is a favorite for locals who don’t mind a short walk.  Visit the Sound Transit website.
  5. Seattle-to-Bremerton Ferry: The ferry (walking on and off) is likely the most cost effective method of getting to the conference center. It will be a very short walk for you to get from the Bremerton Ferry Dock to the conference Center.  A walk-on ticket for the Seattle-to- Bremerton Ferry is only $8.35.  A car with only the driver would be about $15 one-way.

Parking meters are located near the elevator and stairwell on both levels. All parking stalls have a number on them. Attendees must enter their parking stall number into the meter. When presented with parking options, attendees must scroll through the options until they find, “Conference Attendee.” The conference rate is $4, and is good for the duration of the event. The meters accept cash and card, but DO NOT give change. Please be sure to inform your guests that conference center parking is only on the GREEN and RED levels of the garage. The blue level (1st entrance) is for the Hampton Inn, Kitsap Transit, and Anthony’s Restaurant. Parking there may result in a ticket.
